Ukraine's youth national team defender Arseniy Batagov expressed his opinion on the Euro 2023 semi-final match with Spain.
"The temperature in Bucharest is much higher than in Cluj. This makes it very difficult to play games - even in the evening the temperature is very high, it's hard to breathe. But we will make every effort to achieve the maximum result.
I believe that Spain, like France, are very strong teams individually. But Spain is a more organised team. France, on the other hand, plays more on the strength of their individual qualities, while Spain is more of a team.
I think that in the first game the Spaniards underestimated us a little bit. But this will not happen in the second match. That's for sure. We need to give ourselves 100%, because that's the only way we can go further. They have very strong players, but we have just as strong players on the wings. I think everything will be fine.
Ruslan Petrovich tells us that we are stronger. Perhaps, before this championship, someone underestimated us. But we managed to prove that we are a very strong team and deserve to be where we are now.
There is no such attitude. As a team, we only think about the next game. After all, everything will depend on it: whether we will be in the final, whether we can win this championship or not," Batagov said.
