Saudi Arabian club Al Ittifaq is ready to pay a huge salary to Liverpool midfielder Jordan Henderson, the Daily Mail reports.
Jordan Henderson, Getty ImagesAccording to a source, Al Ittifaq offered Jordan Henderson €41 million a year. The footballer has accepted the offer, but Liverpool may stand in the way of this deal, demanding €23 million for the transfer of their captain.
If the transfer takes place, Henderson will play for Al-Ittifaq under the leadership of Steven Gerrard, with whom he played for Liverpool.
