Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Denys Garmash will not move to LNZ. This was announced by the President of Cherkasy club Andriy Poltavets.
"Garmash is an experienced player of high class. However, the position on which he plays, we have classy young players - Tishchenko, Kopyl, Boyko. These guys can progress, and we have no complaints about this line. There was no sense to look for someone else for the position under attack.
We were looking for players for the problematic positions of forward and supporting midfielder. If Garmash was a good centre-back, then maybe we would have taken him. There was no point in taking an experienced and expensive player for a position where there are locals who have the potential to grow," Poltavets said in an interview with YouTube channel 18000.
