Head coach of Kryvbas Kryvyi Rih Yurii Vernydub shared his impressions of the opening part of the Ukrainian league season 2023/24.
Yuriy Vernydub"The championship is going on as usual. This is just the beginning. I am surprised that only the fifth round has been played, and three coaches have already resigned. I do not understand this.
The level of the championship has dropped compared to the period before the war. It takes time for our clubs to become stronger," Ukrainian Football quoted Vernydub as saying.
It will be recalled that since the start of the current Ukrainian championship, Dnipro-1 (Oleksandr Kucher), Zorya (Nenad Lalatovic) and LNZ (Oleksandr Kovpak) have lost their head coaches.
