Minaya's head coach Volodymyr Sharan criticised Dmytro Bondarenko's refereeing in the match between the Transcarpathians and Shakhtar (1:4).
- "I don't understand why the referee is still sympathetic to such a strong team. I think there was a penalty in the episode with Tverdokhlib's fall, then, in my opinion, there was a high leg play in the centre of the pitch in the case of the second goal, then Gunichev was pushed by Matvienko (everyone saw it) and we got a goal again. It's hard to judge, but it seemed to me that there were violations of the rules by Shakhtar's players," Sharan's official website quoted the Transcarpathian team as saying.
