Inter Miami's marketing department has come up with an interesting idea to capitalise on Lionel Messi's arrival at the club.
Lionel Messi, Getty ImagesThe 36-year-old's move instantly sparked a mad scramble for tickets to matches featuring the Argentine. Off the pitch, Inter Miami is selling off its iconic pink home jerseys for the 2023/24 season, but the interest in the shirts from previous campaigns was unheard of.
The club found a way around this. The club's first white home jersey since 2020 is now available in their official shop with Messi's number 10 on the back, despite the fact that Leo moved to Florida around three years after the jersey was released.
