The Ukrainian Football Association (UAF) has sent a letter to football federations across Europe urging them to boycott matches involving Russian U-17 teams despite UEFA's decision to return them to international competition, The Times reports.
"The UAF is appealing to you to boycott all possible matches involving teams from Russia, if any are scheduled.
We are convinced that any step towards the reintegration of Russian representatives is a dangerous and horrifying trend, which means nothing but support for the Russian terrorist state and all its crimes, both already committed and ongoing in Ukraine", - said in the letter of the UAF.
We shall remind you that earlier 11 countries announced their boycott of any matches with any Russian teams, namely Ukraine, England, Poland, Lithuania, Latvia, Estonia, Sweden, Finland, Denmark, Norway and Ireland.
