Nacho receives 3-match suspension in La Liga for a flagrant foul against Girona player

Real Madrid defender Nacho Fernandez has been banned for three matches of the Spanish league.

In the match of the 8th round of La Liga, the 33-year-old received a straight red card in the 93rd minute for a rough tackle against Girona's Christian Porto. The Catalan midfielder was taken off the pitch on a stretcher, but was not seriously injured.

Following an additional review of the episode, Nacho was banned for three matches of the Spanish league and fined €600. "Real Madrid is obliged to pay a fine of €1,050.
