UEFA has officially confirmed that the 2028 European Championship will be held in the UK and Ireland, and at the same time announced the list of football stadiums that will host the matches of the continental forum.
The list of stadiums where Euro 2028 matches will take place has been preliminarily determined. The European Championship matches will take place in Belfast, Birmingham, Cardiff, Dublin, Glasgow, Liverpool, London, Manchester and Newcastle.
The European Championship is held every four years among the national teams that are members of UEFA. Euro 2028 is the 18th edition of the tournament.
It should be added that the current trophy winner is the Italian national team, which won the 2020 UEFA European Championship. It is worth noting that the most titled national teams of the tournament are Germany and Spain, who have won the tournament three times.
