England's head coach Lee Carsley commented on the 2-3 defeat to Ukraine.
- It was a great game. Both teams were very determined, trying to score. The Ukrainians scored a great goal in a fast break at the end of the match. This is a very good match if we are talking about the game of youth football teams.
We conceded goals that we shouldn't have conceded. I have a feeling that we really should have stopped the Ukrainian players where they were not stopped. But globally, I rate my team's performance well. Ukraine was just lucky on the counterattack.
This "window" was very difficult in general, serious rivals: Serbia, Ukraine. Basically, these are just two tough opponents, the previous match did not affect the result. We played well here too, but conceded in the end," said Carsley.
