The new head coach of Veres Oleg Shandruk spoke about the club's tasks in the Ukrainian championship.
Oleg Shandruk"I believe that "Veres" is now in the construction phase. We are a young club that wants to change Ukrainian football - in terms of investment, in terms of team building.
Probably, everyone knows that we do not have a lot of money. In Ukrainian football, the key to qualified players is finances. We cannot compete with some clubs if we want to invite this or that player to our squad.
As of today we have opened Veres Academy. We are looking for young players and we want to develop them. So far we are solving other tasks than perhaps those that many of our fans would like. Few people thought that we would fight for the European cups. But few thought that we would winter in 15th place," Shandruk said.
