Belgian Genk have announced the lease of Ukrainian defender of French Strasbourg Eduard Sobol.
It is reported that the term of the lease is until the end of the current season. At the same time, "Genk" has an option to buy out the transfer rights to the 28-year-old footballer.
"Sobol's experience and his knowledge of our competitors make such a transition valuable for us. We are convinced that Eduard's personality and professionalism fits perfectly into the atmosphere of our club. Sobol will have a positive impact on our team both on and off the pitch," - so commented on the lease of Sobol head of football department of "Genk" Dmitri de Conde.
Recall, the current season was a failure for Sobol because of a broken nose, which he received during the summer pre-season training of his team. For this reason, the Ukrainian in the current season took part in only four matches "Strasbourg". As a result, the French club put the player on transfer.
