The legendary Dynamo player, a graduate of our club, one of the best players in the history of the White and Blues, Andriy Shevchenko, today became the President of the Ukrainian Football Association (UAF). You were one of the best players in the world during your playing years, then reached historic heights with the national team of Ukraine as head coach, and now you are starting the path of a functionary.
At all times, you have been noted for your love of football, professionalism and lack of fear in any situation. Now our football needs exactly such leaders and managers, people who can give an impetus to the development of the national football economy even in times of great war.
There is no doubt that you will demonstrate your best qualities already as a respected functionary, and your vast experience and connections in world football will help develop the number one game in our country.
