Yuriy Pankiv is not going to end his career just yet

The media reported that the highly experienced Ukrainian goalkeeper, 39-year-old Yuriy Pankiv, wanted to end his playing career.

But, as the NV player himself admitted, he was simply injured and therefore did not go to the training camp with Rukh. To be more precise, Pankiv had surgery on his finger six months ago. Now the old injury prevents the goalkeeper from even starting training. Now Yuriy is healing the injury and should be able to join the team and finish out his contract, which expires this summer.
