Dynamo Kyiv continues to prepare for the second part of the season at the training camp in Turkey. After a few days' break, the White and Blues will have two more weeks of active preparation for the spring part of the season.
On Wednesday, Dynamo held two training sessions on the pitch, each of which was preceded by a long theoretical session at the hotel. Among other things, the theoretical sessions focused on the mistakes the team made during previous matches.
The morning training session on the pitch began with an intense warm-up, during which the players first warmed up their muscles and ended with a run through an obstacle course, at the end of which they had to accelerate to maximum speed.
So, the Dynamo players approached the main part of the workout having already run well and got into a training rhythm. The main part of the work included exercises in squares, during which the players held the ball under pressure in a limited space.
This was followed by modelling game situations, including getting out of defence under pressure and developing attacks quickly.
Work on tactics continued during the evening session. This time, more attention was paid to the completion of attacks, game interactions, and the development of combinations. In addition, the team worked on shots on goal.
Dynamo will play its first match at the second winter training camp and the fifth in Turkey on Thursday, when it will meet the Latvian club Liepaja. On the morning of the game, the White and Blues will hold a pre-game training session.
