On Thursday, 8 February, Dynamo Kyiv held another control match within the framework of the off-season training camp in Turkey. The opponent of the Ukrainian team was Latvian Liepaja.

"Dynamo started the match actively, took the advantage from the start and opened the score already on the 8th minute of the match: Andrievsky brought Tsarenko to the right side of the Liepaja penalty area and he headed the ball into the far upper corner of the Latvian team's goal with a prepared shot - 1:0.
Having achieved success, Dynamo continued to attack, but Liepaja managed to equalise the score. On the 18th minute of the match in the Latvian team's counterattack Faye restored the balance - 1:1. However, only four minutes later Dynamo regained the advantage: Dyachuk after Andrievskiy's corner kick sent the ball under the crossbar with a clear header - 2:1.
And at the end of the first half Dynamo managed to develop their success. Liepaja's goalkeeper kicked the ball after Benito's shot, but Supryaga played effectively on the rebound - 3:1. Only the Baltics managed to respond again: a minute before the half-time whistle Silagadze shot the ball into the "nine" of Dinamo's goal from 20 metres - 3:2.
But at the very beginning of the second half Dynamo developed their success. It was Karavaev who was the most diligent in the penalty area of Liepaja and after a ricochet sent the ball into the goal - 4:2. And in the middle of the second half Vanat realised a one-on-one, and so the score became 5:2.
Oleksandr Shovkovskiy's team will play their next friendly tomorrow, 9 February, against Shkendija from Northern Macedonia.
