Journalist Volodymyr Zverov drew attention to the legal scandal surrounding the 0-0 game between Oleksandriya and Shakhtar.
"Here's the first drama of the spring UPL. Oleksandriya midfielder Ivan Kalyuzhnyi played against Shakhtar, although it seems he has not yet been declared for the Alexandrians. The player's passport (a document used by the match referee) still shows his last club as Luhansk. Kalyuzhnyi spent the first part of the season on loan at LNZ, and this winter he returned to Oleksandriya. "The appearance of an unannounced player on the pitch is a technical defeat 0-3, and the great match that Oleksandriya played with Shakhtar will go down to 0 points," Zverov wrote on Telegram.
We would like to add that Kalyuzhnyi is currently listed on the UPL website as "released from Oleksandriya on 27.07.2023".
