Sky Sports journalist Rob Harris has revealed the salary figures of FIFA President Gianni Infantino.
According to his information, the FIFA head started receiving more money after his re-election as the organisation's president.
His salary of €1.99 million was increased by 33% to €2.69 million. He also received a bonus of €1.93 million for the Women's World Cup, bringing Infantino's total income to €4.21 million.
Infantino, who holds Swiss and Italian citizenship, has been heading FIFA since 2016, replacing Sepp Blatter after a series of high-profile corruption scandals. In 2019, he was re-elected for a second term, and last March, 53-year-old Infantino was re-elected to the post until 2027. He was the only candidate in the election.
