Bordeaux midfielder Danylo Ihnatenko has commented on the situation regarding racism allegations.
According to L'Equipe, during a 2-0 win over Dunkirk in the 34th round of Ligue 2, the Ukrainian footballer allegedly called opposing defender Alyoun Ba a "black pussy" shortly before leaving the field.
"Yesterday, I was found not guilty in this situation, as there were no statements towards the player who accuses me of these loud words. This incident was invented by a player of the opposing team, who tried to provoke me throughout the game, but he failed. And after the game, he said that I was a racist. I don't understand why he did it and made it up. The case is closed and I am not guilty," Ihnatenko said.
This season, Danylo has scored 2 goals and 1 assist in 32 matches for Bordeaux.
