Kryvbas Vice President Artem Gagarin expressed the club's position on the postponement of Ukrainian championship matches.
Artem Gagarin- Dario Srna said that Shakhtar was the initiator-opponent of the postponement of UPL matches. What is Kryvbas' position on this?
- As for the postponements, our position has been and remains unchanged from the very beginning, because it was we who initiated the cancellation of paragraph 15 of the sixth article of the current regulations.
Regarding Dario's statement, we were surprised, given Shakhtar's position at all UPL club meetings, where they supported the postponement of matches and it was they who added a clause to the regulations last year about postponing games without the consent of the other party. This year, most clubs supported Kryvbas' proposal, with Shakhtar, Dynamo, Zorya and Oleksandriya abstaining.
- Why do you think Shakhtar changed their mind?
- I can't answer for Shakhtar. But Kryvbas is very pleased that Srna and Shakhtar made the right conclusions and listened to the majority of clubs. Everyone should have equal conditions. These are the principles of fair play.
We hope that Dynamo, Zorya and Dnipro-1 will join us in the same way in the issue of a single TV pool, and finally we will all unite and develop and save Ukrainian football together.
- As far as I understand, the decision to cancel the postponement of matches has already been made.
- Yes, it has. It was voted for twice. The first time the clubs supported the Kryvbas editorial board when we proposed the cancellation of postponements. And the second time they voted when some changes related to the Olympic team were adopted. The majority of clubs supported the cancellation of postponements and even the change of stadiums the second time around.
