UAF President Andriy Shevchenko expressed his opinion on the start of the Ukrainian national team at Euro 2024.

Secondly, and even more importantly, we proudly represent Ukraine and remind the world what we are going through. Every victory of Ukraine, both on and off the field, is very important for every Ukrainian, especially for those who are currently defending our country.
Unfortunately, the world's interest in the war in Ukraine is declining. I often hear the question: "Do you still have this war going on?" It's very painful because we are fighting for our existence, but we are also fighting for the civilized world against a very strong enemy. And Ukraine's participation in Euro 2024 at a time when there is a full-scale war in the country is a very good, strong opportunity to remind the world of this. And we will always find ways to convey this," Shevchenko said in an interview with Sportowe Fakty.
