The day after the Euro 2024 group stage match against Romania (0: 3) in Munich, the Ukrainian national team took a charter flight via Frankfurt to their tournament base in Taunusstein, where they arrived in half an hour.
The evening training session was attended by three goalkeepers and field players who came on as substitutes yesterday or did not take part in the match against Romania. The players from the starting lineup stayed at the hotel for recovery procedures.
At the same time, 16 players jogged and warmed up on the lawn of the SC Veen training base, after which they practiced passing and shots on goal. They also held intensive game series, the main task of which on the post-match day is to equalize the functional state of the players relative to the state of those who participated in the match with Romania from the starting minutes.
