Dynamo Kyiv midfielder Oleksandr Pikhalenok commented on the result of the match with LNZ in the 5th round of the Ukrainian championship on the air of the broadcaster.
- The victory was minimal, but we had the initiative, could have scored more, but only one goal and a slippery slope until the final whistle. LNZ had shots, set pieces, and could have scored somewhere. Therefore, we had to score the second or third goal and close the game.
- What exactly was missing for the second goal ?
- If the coach shouted "Faster", it means that I probably lacked pace somewhere. Although there were moments: I could have scored in both the first and second halves - but, unfortunately, I failed. This is football, and it's good that we managed to get three points.
- What can you say about the fans who filled the stands?
- It's a thrill to play with the fans. I don't know how many people were there today - probably around two thousand. And it's a real thrill. When the stands are empty, it's a completely different atmosphere. Today we were very well supported, so thank you for your support. This victory is, of course, for them.
- A busy period is ahead - matches for the national team, in the league, in the Europa League. Have you talked about this within the team, about rotation, for example?
- Of course, we have a lot of skilled players in our team, there are two or three players for each position, all of whom are of a high level. So, of course, there will be rotation.
