Artem Kravets, advisor to Dynamo's president, commented on Oleksandr Pikhalenko's transfer from Dnipro-1.
"The decision to transfer a player is not made by one person. All the players who come to Dynamo Kyiv are necessarily reviewed by several people. And the entire scouting department has to come to the conclusion that this player really suits us and we like him. Then the head coach makes a decision and can say yes or no. His word is the most important. Our president is involved in the negotiations, negotiating financial terms and so on.
Speaking specifically about Pikhalenko, a year ago Ihor Mykhailovych asked which Ukrainian players could strengthen Dynamo. Then Pikhalenko's name was mentioned as one of the best players in the center of the midfield. He is a very talented guy and he shows it. But it was impossible to take him to Dynamo at that time. Then this topic stopped.
And now, when the opportunity came, Ihor Mykhailovych held negotiations. He did the right thing and deserved, as he says, the award. Inviting such a player is a really great success for the club. He is truly a talent who shows his level from the first training session and game. Therefore, only compliments to Igor Mikhailovich, who arranged his transfer," said Kravets.
