- We communicate a lot with the guys, and I told Vanat that if he moves to the center, he should either shoot or pass it out. He obeyed me, made a very good pass, and I had a lot of time to fake and shoot.
- In the first half, Dynamo succeeded in almost everything, but after the break it was not so easy with Obolon. Why is that?
- The way the game goes, sometimes you manage to create chances, and sometimes not. During the match, we rebuilt ourselves, but we had already achieved a result, so the opponent had to open up and we still had many opportunities to score goals.
- Next week we have two tough matches - against Roma and Shakhtar. Have you thought about them yet?
- We understand that the schedule is tough, but we are used to it. Everyone understands what club they play for and what goals and objectives we have. Of course, we haven't prepared for them directly yet, because the most important match is the one that comes next on the calendar. So now we have played the game with Obolon, and tomorrow we will make adjustments to the match and prepare for the next one.
- Today was the capital's derby. Was this match special for you?
- I wouldn't say it was special, because every match is special for us now. We have a busy schedule and no time to worry or rejoice - we have played a game and are preparing for the next one. There is a long road ahead, so we need to pay more attention to recovery. Now it comes to the fore when preparing for matches.
- Last season you beat Obolon twice in the league, but lost in the Cup. Do you remember that match?
- In general, we didn't focus on it. But I personally remember everything, so I did. There are moments like that - we created a lot of chances, but ended up missing them, and that's how we ended up losing. But that's history, it's a different story now, so we prepared differently.
- Obolon has a lot of ex-Dynamo players, pupils of our club. Have you talked to any of them, maybe you know someone personally?
- I know many of the players who have been playing for a long time, but I haven't talked to anyone. I only know their doctor well, because many of them worked with him in the youth and national teams.
