— What needs to change in our national team compared to the previous match against the Georgians?
— I believe these are different games. We prepare for each match, just as the Georgian team does. Now we are playing away, and the Georgians will have strong support. I am sure they will be more aggressive. But we have our plan for the game, and we must execute it.
— What is the situation with the team? Is Artem Dovbik ready to play?
— Yesterday Artem had his first training session. We will see if he can play. Unfortunately, there are many players with minor injuries. The players from the same “Dynamo” and “Shakhtar” are quite tired after the travels. Unfortunately, Vladyslav Vanat will not play tomorrow; he is still recovering. I hope he will return for the next match. Those players who will go out onto the field tomorrow understand the responsibility of this match. I am confident that they will all come out and compete for Ukraine.
— What are the strengths and weaknesses of the Georgian national team? What condition are they in?
— I do not know what condition the Georgian national team is in, but we played against them a month ago. There is information from another match when the Georgians changed their tactical scheme. But we must be ready for any scheme and face such a team.
— Are you paying attention to the situation in the group before the last two matches?
— We were informed about this when we played against Slovakia at Euro 2024. But I believe that at the national team level, there are very high-class footballers gathered, and everyone goes out to win. Tomorrow we will be focused on victory because this game is very important. I am sure it will be an interesting match.
— How do you plan to stop Khvicha Kvaratskhelia?
— Just like we tried to stop him in the first match. I do not know what position he will play. I have a great respect for this player. I believe that the Georgians have very high-level attacking players, and it is very interesting to play against them. But we have our plan for the game.
