The President of the Ukrainian Football Association and former forward Andriy Shevchenko assessed his 48 goals in the Champions League against the backdrop of hundreds of current leaders.
Andriy Shevchenko— I do not feel dissatisfied. Everyone has their own time, their own peak. I am satisfied with mine. Besides, let’s not forget one thing: the Champions League looked different in my time. There were fewer teams, fewer matches. Back then, even goals in the Champions League qualifiers were worth the same as those in the main round now. Therefore, I am satisfied with my achievements,” Shevchenko said in an interview with Polish Goal.
