Forward of Oleksandriya Oleksandr Filippov spoke about the confrontation with Kyiv’s Dynamo in the Ukrainian championship.
“These two matches against Dynamo can be divided. Regarding the first match, Ruslan Petrovich probably said it right that we lacked aggression and acted timidly here. We lacked finishing near Dynamo's goal, and we were afraid to take initiative. From our side, there were few shots, even though there were good prerequisites for this. We lacked cool-headedness in some moments, confidence to take more control of the game and put ourselves in a striking position. We simply lacked sharpness in the final stage.
As for the second match, we can say we lost due to some individual mistakes. After that, we couldn’t gather ourselves and find our game. But no matter how it was, we didn’t panic and tried to create moments. But in a match against Dynamo, when you lose 2-0 away, of course, it's difficult. We allowed Dynamo to play their game. And they are particularly strong in counterattacks and using the flanks. And we gave them many prerequisites for that,” Filippov said.
