Former goalkeeper of “Karpaty” Gábor Vajda commented on the joint statement of the “green-whites” and “Rukh”.
— The decision is logical and inevitable. The unification of the two clubs will give the team the opportunity to earn a spot in European competitions. Moreover, I hope that after this “Karpaty” will become the third force in Ukrainian football and compete with “Shakhtar” and “Dynamo”. This reinforcement should help “Karpaty” break into the Conference League. At least for this, the Lviv team will fight. But if they do not gain access to European competitions this spring, I am sure they will do it in the coming years,” said the expert.
