The day after the first match of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League with Turkish Fenerbahce (0:0), which, we recall, took place last Wednesday in Lodz, Poland, Dynamo Kyiv head coach Mircea Lucescu gave his team a day off.
However, those football players who did not take part in the match or spent a little time on the field voluntarily went to the evening training session on Thursday.
Well, already on Friday, Dynamo held the first full-fledged training session after the match with Fenerbahce in full force. It included both recovery and tactical work. The work began with the theory room, where the players waited for an hour and a half debriefing of the first match. The coaches pointed out the mistakes made in the first game to the players.
Then the team continued to work on the field. After the warm-up, exercises in squares followed, as well as tactics - team actions in defense and attack, taking into account work on mistakes. The players also practiced shots on goal.
The White-Blues' training session was attended by the family of Sergei Sidorchuk. After the lesson, the captain's children came out onto the lawn to play football with their dad. The youngest of the children is only four months old, and this was his first time on the football field.
Recall that the second leg of the 2nd qualifying round of the Champions League Fenerbahce - Dynamo will be held next Wednesday, July 27, in Istanbul.
