When there was a reservist tournament, in Moroz they played in the game known to them from the academy, and when the under-21 championship was closed, they went to UPL clubs. This is how it turns out that Mr. Ishchenko (the head of the Dynamo academy) prepares players for clubs like "Kolos", "Ingulets", "Alexandria", and in the best case for "Zora" or "Dnipro-1", but no way not for Dynamo.
There is no systematic approach to the education of players. The problem of football education is the same as the problem of education in Ukraine. There are some outdated templates that have been working for decades and something new and fresh is just being added to this rotten foundation. But the foundation under this new, fresh one is about to crack...
In his time, Rebrov did a tremendous job when he brought the Spaniards from Bilbao to Kyiv. Ihor Mykhailovych Surkis says that some Spaniards stayed at the academy, so everything is fine, you just don't understand anything. Again, we hear from them talking about the cover, not the content itself. With Khatskevich's arrival, everything changed, but some still cannot realize it.
If Rebrov agrees to come to Dynamo again and start everything from scratch, then a monument next to the stadium near Lobanovskyi will not be enough. This is an incredible layer of work, and in such times it will be even more difficult to change the entire vertical of the club and invite educated people from Europe and train your own.
We were told that Dynamo is changing its philosophy and betting on youth, but let's find out. Please name the football player from the Dynamo academy who was brought to the base, and not the one who got to the base due to the injury of the leader and got a foothold there. I can only remember Tsygankov, whom Rebrov brought gradually to the base, while Yarmolenko was alive. Since then, it's all random.
Let's go through the composition:
- Bushchan sat in the doubles for God knows how long, and even after Shovkovsky's departure, he was the third or fourth goalkeeper.
- Dubinchak - attention was paid to him only after the sale of Mykolenko and the realization that there was no one else.
- Orphan - he was not the main player even in his youth, but the injuries of "Dynamo" defenders made his way to adult football as well.
- Zabarny - if not for the injuries of Burda and Popov, there would have been no Zabarny last year, and maybe even now.
- Shaparenko had a great chance for Khatskevich/Mykhailichenko to rot in doubles and go on loan to UPL clubs, but Lucescu came.
- Vanat is a talented striker, but not a core player for a club that intends to play successfully in the European Cups.
Again, zero complaints against the players. They play the way they were taught, but they were taught differently. As in normal schools/universities, where everything depends on the teacher.
It is very sad that now, looking at the talented players in Dynamo, you wish that they would escape from this golden cage to Europe as soon as possible. Tsygankova will be 25 years old in November - it's no longer about being young and promising, it's about solving problems here and now, and there are doubts about this.
It is sad, because the material is there, it is collected from all over the country. But there are no masters who know how to work with this material. But there are Dynamo hearts, with "the best education in the world and delicious ice cream."
