Since for the last 24 hours information has been actively spreading in the media that I am applying for the post of president of the UAF, I think that I should clarify my position.
Firstly, while the war is going on in Ukraine, I don’t see an opportunity to do anything other than help the Armed Forces of Ukraine and my country.
Secondly, I have not yet completed my career as a football player, although it has faded into the background for the objective reasons described above.
Thirdly, I do not plan to engage in behind-the-scenes agreements behind the back of the current president of the UAF.
If I decide to nominate my candidacy for the UAF President, I will announce it publicly.
However, I'm lying if I say that I never thought about it. Of course, as an active footballer, I have my own vision of the development of Ukrainian football. In addition, having been playing abroad for a long time, there are many ideas that I would like to adopt and implement in Ukraine. But everything has its time. The only victory I dream of today is the victory of Ukraine, and we will win the elections later),” Zozulya wrote on his Facebook page, attaching the above photo.
