On Wednesday, March 1, Dynamo Kyiv signed North Macedonian defensive midfielder Reshat Ramadani. After that, the player gave his first interview to the club's media.
- Reshat, welcome to our club, city and the best country in the world! What are your first emotions after signing a contract with Dynamo?
- I am very happy to join such a great team as Dynamo Kyiv. This is a European-level club, the best club in Ukraine!
- What did you know about our city and country before joining our team?
- I knew it was a big city. I know that there is a war in Ukraine, but I see how brave people are in your country. The whole world admires you now!
- What can you say about yourself as a person?
- I am a person from a small town with a big heart. I want to demonstrate all my skills and abilities and prove myself at this club.
- You started as a central defender, but now you play as a holding midfielder. Which position is your native one?
- I used to play center back, now I can play both defense and midfield. However, the most comfortable and best position for me is a holding midfielder.
- What were your emotions when you found out a few days after the Dynamo-Skendija match at the Turkish training camp that you were joining our club?
- I didn't believe it at first, I still don't believe it! I'm very excited now, this is an extremely big transfer for me, I'm like in a dream!
- Our coach Mircea Lucescu noticed you in this game. How did you find out about the transfer?
- I didn't find out right away, but when I did, I couldn't believe it. I was very confused.
- What would you like to say to the fans of Dynamo Kyiv at this time?
- I can say that I will give my all for the club in order to reach heights with Dynamo.
- You know for sure about the war that Russia is waging against Ukraine. Yet you were not afraid to come to our country.
- I was not afraid because I came to play, to show my best and to become a champion with Dynamo Kyiv! In addition, I repeat, your people simply fascinate the world!
- Why did you take the number 92?
- It's because of the fans of my former club, Shkendia. 92 is the year when the Shkendiya fan movement was founded. I dedicate this issue to them.
- After signing the contract and being introduced, you will go to the base for dinner with the head coach, and tomorrow you will have your first training session with the new team. How much are you looking forward to this moment?
- Yes, I am looking forward to it very much. I want to play and show my best on the field!
