Head coach of Minaj Volodymyr Sharan commented on his team's 0-1 defeat to Dnipro-1 in yesterday's match on Matchday 26 of the Ukrainian Championship.
"I am very grateful to the players for the fight they gave on the pitch. In terms of the implementation of the game plan and dedication, in terms of defensive actions, I have no complaints about the team.
Dnipro-1 had almost the only episode when Dovbyk met the ball in our goalkeeper's area. Well, there were one or two such episodes. And we were punished. This is a skill. Pikhalonok passed the ball. We theoretically told the guys that they have these three players of a very high level: Dovbyk, Pikhalonok and Hutsulyak, who did not play today.
In the dressing room, the guys are a bit depressed because they wanted to achieve a positive result. But life does not end there, we have to move on. I am grateful to the team, I am grateful to the fans for their support. I liked this game because there was tension until the last minute," said Sharan.
