Shakhtar CEO Sergei Palkin has expressed his opinion on the possible transfer of midfielder Manor Solomon to Tottenham.

But he doesn't want to transfer and I think Solomon will stay in England. I don't know where he will move to. If he moves to Tottenham, we'll deal with Spurs in court over the case.
Can you imagine, we pay big money for him and Tottenham end up getting him for free? It is unfair to our club. We will definitely go to court and defend ourselves," Palkin told ESPN in a commentary.
It will be recalled that following Russia's widespread invasion of Ukraine, Solomon moved on loan to Fulham under the new FIFA rule. His deal with the London club will end in the summer, but the player does not want to return to the Donetsk club. Solomon intends to suspend his deal with the Donetsk side again. His contract with Shakhtar expires on 31 December 2023, which means the player can leave the club as a free agent.
