Ukraine defender Ilya Zabarnyi commented on the 1-2 defeat to Italy in the Euro 2024 qualifying match.
"Both England and Italy are top teams. Their players are among the best in the world, it is difficult to resist such players. Italy attacked with more speed, I think they had stronger pressure. We did not succeed in much, it was very difficult to get out of defence
Somewhere we lacked quality in passes and openings. But still, I think we performed at a high level. The guys were great, they gave everything they could. We'll analyse this game and get ready for the rest."
