Liverpool head coach Jurgen Klopp was unhappy with the atmosphere at Anfield after the team's 5-1 victory over West Ham in the EFL Cup.
"I think in the first half, when the lads were really exceptional, I wasn't very happy with the atmosphere at the back. I asked people what they wanted. We changed a lot of things, we dominated West Ham like crazy, missing our chances. If I was in the stands, I would have been on my feet, 1000 per cent. I don't know, was the game against Manchester United so bad that we should apologise for not beating them?
If there was too much football for you in December, or you were in a bad mood, give your ticket to someone else. It wasn't the excitement I felt. There were so many good performances, but we were only winning 1-0," Klopp was quoted as saying by the BBC.
