I can say that the strongest competition in the national team is goalkeeping - it is extremely difficult to choose a goalkeeper. Because there is Trubin, Lunin, Bushchan, Riznyk - four high-level goalkeepers. Serhiy Stanislavovych will have to rack his brains here. It is clear that Lunin and Trubin are the favourites.
Trubin has played almost all the recent games. I think he will have a slight advantage. But the way Lunin is playing now, the choice will be extremely difficult. And it's interesting, because, really, there are two goalkeepers of a very high class, and you just have to choose and guess.
A lot will depend on the fact that they will analyse the opponent and select a goalkeeper for him. I think they will give preference to Trubin. But there is a big "but" - we may see Lunin in the goal," said Wirth.
In the first semi-final of the play-offs for Euro 2024, the Ukrainian national team will play Bosnia and Herzegovina. If they win, the Ukrainians will play Iceland or Israel in the final.
