Renowned coach and football expert Oleh Fedorchuk analysed the situation ahead of the Euro 2024 play-off match between Bosnia and Herzegovina and Ukraine.

In my opinion, the Bosnians are in crisis. This is not the same team as it was two or three years ago. This is confirmed by their performance in the qualifying tournament, where the team took fifth place out of six participants, losing out to Iceland, Luxembourg, Slovakia, not to mention Portugal.
However, I am optimistic about the future. I am impressed by the work of Sergiy Rebrov: everything is done without pathos, clearly, smoothly and professionally. I haven't seen a single failed match under this coach, and the last game with Italy was celebrated by the whole of Europe. It was an equal game at the level of the European top team.
We have a younger team, but more experienced, and this is a big plus. Finally, let's not forget about the coaching factor - Serhii Rebrov has already gained a lot of experience. I won't say he is an elite coach, but he is getting there.
And I'm not talking about the 2024 UEFA European Championship qualifiers, where the Blue and Yellows drew with England and Italy, while the Bosnians can only boast two victories over Liechtenstein and one victory against Iceland. So in this bet, I give 60-40% in favour of the Ukrainian national team," Fedorchuk said.
