Acting head coach of Zhytomyr's Polissya Serhii Shyshchenko told us what he expects from his team's match against Vorskla Poltava in the 1/2 finals of the Ukrainian Cup, which will take place today in Zhytomyr.
"We watched Vorskla's game against Dynamo and other games, a powerful team, very good players. It won't be easy, it will be a slaughter, a real slaughter between two teams that want to get to the final and then win the cup. It will be a very difficult game for both teams, so we are preparing for a fighting match.
We need to correct our mistakes and move on. We need to train as much as possible tactical schemes, offensive and defensive actions. Everything we plan in the training process must be used in the game. We want to win, and that's why I don't feel any pressure. The players may feel it, but we need a win, a historic win. And I think the pressure will ease a bit.
Everyone is healthy, everyone is in good shape, so I'm very happy that we can have the optimal line-up for this game, which we planned for the games we had. I'm very pleased that everyone is fit and will be preparing for the game against Poltava," Shyshchenko's official website quoted Polissia as saying.
