Bayern Munich has reached a verbal agreement with Vincent Kompany on cooperation.

According to Bild, the German giants are close to appointing the 38-year-old as their head coach. The deal has not yet been concluded, but Bayern are negotiating with Burnley over compensation.

It is worth noting that after leading Burnley to an impressive promotion to the English Premier League, Kompany was unable to save the club from relegation this season.
