Famous Russian figure skating coach Tatiana Tarasova shared her opinion on the results of the survey, according to which the interest in soccer in her subcountry has fallen to almost zero (the share of people indifferent to soccer in the period from 2005 to 2024 increased from 43% to 77%, and the number of regular soccer fans decreased five times - from 19% to 4%).
"There is nothing surprising about these figures. I belong to a large part of the population of our country, which is indifferent to soccer. In Russia, there is simply no soccer," - Metaratings quotes Tarasova.
