The initiative from the first minutes was seized by Ruslan Rotan's wards, who, with the strength of their captain Kirill Kovalyets, tested the reaction of Georgiy Bushchan in the debut of the match, but the "Dynamo" goalkeeper played confidently and parried the distant strike from the opponent.
It seemed that such an active start to the match from the hosts would force the "white-blues" to quickly "switch on" to the game, but Alexander Shovkovskyi's team continued to play as the second number, hoping for counterattacks and the speed of Vanat. It was Vladislav who could have opened the scoring in the 16th minute, but he shot very inaccurately from a tight angle from just a few meters. Perhaps, this was the only dangerous moment from the Kyivans in the first half.
“Alexandria,” on the other hand, continued to create semi-chances near Bushchan's goal, but the "Dynamo" goalkeeper once again demonstrated excellent play, confidently playing in each of the episodes. It is Georgiy who can be named the best player in the "white-blues" in the first half.
In the 37th minute of the match, Brazhko had a good opportunity to score, but his shot from a free kick from 20 meters was frankly unsuccessful — the ball flew significantly over the goal. After this, essentially, all the interesting events of the first half of the confrontation came to an end.

And here the goalkeeper of "Alexandria," Georgiy Ermakov, had to save his team from conceding several times. First, the goalkeeper reacted to a shot by Vitaliy Buyiatskyi from the edge of the penalty area, deflecting the ball to a corner. A few minutes later, Ermakov even made a brilliant save, pulling the ball almost from the corner of the goal after a shot from Voloshin!
In the final minutes of the game, the teams exchanged several dangerous attacks, but in the end, the spectators did not see any goals in such an anticipated confrontation. A scoreless draw — 0:0.
