Today, the head coach of Dynamo, Oleksandr Shovkovsky, is celebrating his 50th anniversary. The club president, Igor Surkis, congratulated the coach on this milestone.

On behalf of myself and the multi-million Dynamo community, allow me to congratulate you on your anniversary.
As a graduate of the Dynamo school, you have traveled the path from a promising young man to an idol for many football fans not only in Ukraine but around the world. With your game and attitude towards the game of millions, you have earned the respect of demanding Dynamo fans, who composed songs and chants about you.
Always focused on the game, showing no leniency either to yourself or your partners on the field, disciplined — this is how you were throughout your long playing career, winning numerous trophies and earning authority not only among your partners but also your opponents. You remain the same now as a coach, trying to pass on your vast wealth of knowledge and experience to your protégés.
On this festive day, I want to wish you, esteemed jubilarian, strong health, family comfort, inexhaustible energy and inspiration, and the achievement of your set goals both on the football field and beyond. And, of course, the realization of a common desire for all of us — a great Victory over the aggressor and the return of all of us alive and healthy to peaceful life.
