Former central midfielder of Kyiv’s Dynamo, Oleksandr Andriievskyi has confirmed that he indeed has several offers from European teams.
— Oleksandr, how true is the information that clubs from Poland, Turkey, and even Spain are interested in you, although not from La Liga, but from the Segunda (La Liga 2)?
— It’s true. There are offers - this is not a rumor. I cannot yet disclose the names of the clubs from which I have offers, as there is still no specifics, but I reiterate that I indeed have several options from Polish and Turkish teams and from a club in the Segunda. Once I sign a contract, I will let you know. Currently, I’m still in the status of a free agent.
— It was also reported that you allegedly have an offer from Cherkasy's LNZ.
— Yes, I am also in contact with this club, discussions are ongoing with the management of the Cherkasy club. We are in communication. The new LNZ coach Roman Hryhorchuk hasn't called me yet.
— What is your priority: to play in Europe or still stay in your homeland?
— It's not very crucial for me. The most important thing for me right now is to find a club during the winter break, sign a deal, and have full playing practice in the future. Of course, I would like to play in Europe, but on the condition that there is an interesting option with an ambitious club. And, of course, I will also consider the interests of my family and what would be better for them.
— And yet, if there is an offer from the conditionally Spanish “Eibar,” which is in the middle of the Segunda table and hardly aiming for a return to La Liga, and at the same time from LNZ, which is quite an ambitious club, would you prefer the Ukrainian team?
— Hypothetically speaking, without specific examples: yes, of course. It’s not interesting to play just for the sake of playing. Teams must have ambitions.
