The Sports Higher Council (CSD) has issued a verdict on the necessity to impose a fine on the Spanish club Real Sociedad following the home match of this team against Kyiv Dynamo (3:0) in the 6th round of the main stage of the Europa League, which took place on December 12 in San Sebastián.
The organization calls for a fine of 4,500 euros to be imposed on the Spanish club for the fact that fans managed to bring and unfurl two banners in the stands without the necessary prior notification about them and without providing certificates that they are made of fireproof materials.
The specific banners in question are not specified, but as already reported, at the match between Real Sociedad and Dynamo, local fans displayed the so-called 'DNR flag' in the stands, which was captured on video.
Additionally, the CSD recommends imposing an additional fine of 4,500 euros on Real Sociedad for fans' attempts to bring alcoholic beverages to the stadium during the match against Dynamo.
