Commentator: «Perhaps Dynamo players will fight on the field not only for themselves or the club, but also for the head coach»
27.11.2025, 12:44
Commentator Oleksandr Mykhailiuk prepared a prediction for the main stage match of the Conference League «Omonia» — «Dynamo».
«Of course, two consecutive defeats against LNZ and „Kolos“ do not add optimism to Kyiv fans before the game in Cyprus. Although, on the other hand, in the match against „Omonia“ we should see a reaction to these defeats.
Who knows, perhaps the fate of Oleksandr Shovkovskyi is being decided in this match. After the loss to „Kolos“, which saw „Dynamo“ drop to seventh place in the UPL, rumors about Shovkovskyi’s resignation began to spread more loudly.
I hope there will be a response from the players themselves to the recent troubles. Maybe the players will fight on the field not only for themselves, or for the club’s colors, but also for the head coach. „Omonia“ is certainly not „Zrinjski“, the Cypriots are much stronger than the Bosnians, but in my opinion, the odds for „Dynamo“'s victory are highly overrated — 3.10. So it’s a sin not to use it. Good luck!!!,» said Mykhailiuk.

Marseille’s head coach Roberto De Zerbi commented on forward Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang’s contribution in the main round match of the Champions League against Newcastle (2:1). The Gabonese scored two goals, helping the Provençals secure a comeback victory.
«Apart from the first ten minutes when we seemed to be in the clouds, we had a good match. We had a lot of chances. We hardly suffered and played well. I am satisfied, satisfied with the players — Bakola, Vermeren, Weah, Rulli... They had a good match.
I saw him in good shape in the first half. He doesn’t need to prove anything to anyone. His only flaw is that he’s 37 years old. I hope he can play for another 10 years because he truly is a great champion,» De Zerbi told RMC Sport.

The midfielder of Kryvyi Rih’s «Kryvbas» Yegor Tverdokhlib recalled the match against Kyiv’s «Dynamo» (0:4) in the 10th round of the Ukrainian championship.
«The team accepted it as a lesson for the future. We shouldn’t look at where we are now (after 13 rounds „Kryvbas“ is in fifth place in the standings, — editor’s note), because only a third of the championship has passed.
We knew who we were playing against—this is a strong opponent, despite their performance in European competitions. Perhaps they have their own problems, but it is still „Dynamo“, that’s the level, every player there is individually very strong. We need to follow our game. Yes, we lost that match, perhaps we played it poorly somewhere, but we need to draw conclusions and move on,»—said Tverdokhlib.

The head coach of Ireland’s Shamrock Rovers, Stephen Bradley, shared what he expects from today’s match against Donetsk’s Shakhtar in the 4th round of the main phase of the Conference League.
«This is undoubtedly the best opponent we’ve played this year. I think there’s no doubt about that. It’s a tough challenge, but we’ve faced many over the years.
And, as I already mentioned, when this team is ready, focused, and in good condition, we can put up a fight against anyone on any night. We’ve shown this many times. Tomorrow night will be no exception.
We understand what we’re doing. We understand the challenge, but we will be ready. A positive result will certainly be among the best, especially considering our previous European results,» said Bradley.
