Shakhtar Donetsk midfielder Georgy Sudakov was included in the list of 40 young talents, which is traditionally published by UEFA at the beginning of each year.

“Mikhail Mudryk, who was on this list a year ago, was perhaps the best in Shakhtar in 2022, but Sudakov’s progress also drew attention. He played all six matches of his team in the group stage of the Champions League, providing two assists and demonstrating excellent ball control,” UEFA assessed the 21-year-old midfielder of the Pitmen.
