Each generation of Dynamo Academy graduates brings something to the first team. 1995 - Mykyta Burda, 1996 - Artem Besedin. 1997 - Volodymyr Shepelev and Viktor Tsyganko, Oleksandr Tymchyk. 1998 - Mykola Shaparenko, Vlad Dubinchak. 1999 - Vitaliy Mykolenko and Denys Popov. 2000 - Oleksandr Syrota. 2002 - Ruslan Neshcheret, Vlad Vanat, Kostya Vivcharenko. 2003 - Nazar Voloshyn, hopefully Oleksandr Yatsyk, Anton Bol. 2004 - Anton Yatsenko takes his first steps in adult football.

This season, the youth team is already starting to play in 2005. No one was able to make it to the first team. But some players show potential and may become first-teamers in the future.

Oleksii Husiev

Son of Dynamo legend and current assistant Mircea Lucescu. Husiev Jr. plays under the same number 20 as his father, on the same right wing. Only Oleksiy is immediately trained as a right-back.

Oleksiy's peculiarity is his height of 187. For a wing player, this is a bit too much anthropometry. Actually, at the children's and youth level, Husiev often used this and had an advantage over his opponents. Now he no longer gets lost against the background of youth football. In addition to good height, he has good ball handling and speed. Potentially, he can change positions and become a central defender or play in the supporting area. In terms of attacking, he has a very good goal-scoring instinct. He scored a lot in the national team of his age. He is dangerous on set pieces and plays well with his head. In his manner, he reminds me a bit of Andriy Husin.

In this story, Oleksiy is a bit hampered by his father's stardom. He receives a lot of attention. This can lead to a loss of sharpness for football. In the summer of 2022, the club gave the player a new improved contract for 3 years.

Nazar Balaba

Today, 17-year-old Nazar Balaba is already fully playing in the center of the youth team's defense. He is somewhat similar in texture to Denys Popov. A defender with good balls and the ability to fight physically. But potentially with better ball handling, first pass, ability to push the ball forward. Nazar has good leadership qualities. He showed them both in the club and the national team.

The main drawback is his speed. Balaba is not slow, but he is not a sprinter either. He plays more through the choice of position. At the level of youth football, this is not very noticeable yet. No one knows how it will be in adult football.

Andrii Matkevych

Andrii scored 8 goals in the first part of the season. For a wing midfielder, this is an excellent figure. It's not to say that Matkevych is some kind of super-individualist who can solve an episode or score a goal on his skills. He is a great professional - he finishes, he improves at every moment. Such efficiency and work and training give results.

Matkevych reminds me a lot of Vitaliy Buyalsky. Buya also once played on the right flank of the midfield. He didn't have much talent, but he was a very smart and hardworking player.
