Famous Ukrainian TV commentator Viktor Vatsko commented on the suspension of Dynamo striker Vladyslav Vanat for 3 matches and 2 suspended for his remarks against referee Kateryna Monzul.

"To be honest, I am very eager to say a lot on this topic, as well as on the topic of BlackLivesMatter, as well as on the topic of what is happening in the world now with the promotion of, let's say, unconventional sexual orientation. I have a lot to say, but I won't. Because our modern society is very strange. Because in our modern society, almost every word, almost every joke, can be turned around and interpreted the way a bunch of charged idiots want it to be, let me put it this way.

Look, can Vanat's statements be considered sexist? Consider this: "In general, I don't see women refereeing men's games in any top championship. We have it here, and for some reason it is very often in Dynamo matches. Let's let everyone draw their own conclusion. Because I don't know where sexism is and where it isn't. Maybe Vanat doesn't watch TV? Maybe he doesn't know? Maybe he doesn't watch European championships, and that's why he said that?

So where is the line between what can be said in a critical tone about a woman and what is already forbidden? What goes beyond this line - what is sexism and hate? BlackLivesMatter is about taking a knee before matches. Is anyone who doesn't take a knee a racist? Is that it, he despises people of colour just because he doesn't take a knee before a match? Or maybe he just has a different point of view on this issue? Now, after all this, a male referee probably has every right to write a report on any player who says to him on the pitch on emotion: "What are you doing, you f#####s?". And accuse this player of homophobia? This is the logic of things.

I think these statements by Vanat are rash and stupid. Moreover, there is an example of Stephanie Frapar in the top championships, even in the Champions League," Vatsko added.
